Girls Rock! ‘n Run for Justice

Thank you for the overwhelming response to participate in our Girls Rock! ‘N Run for Justice in solidarity with #blackgirlsmatter.
We have sold out of Justice Power Packs. We have sold out of shirts. But, we know you don’t do this for the swag. We encourage everyone to join us for the virtual 5k on June 27, and make a donation directly to The National Coalition for 100 Black Women (local chapter) or another charity of your choice doing the hard work of fighting for racial and gender equity.
Didn’t register in time? Please still run (walk, pogo, dance, rollerskate) with us on June 27- any place, any time, any pace. You can honor the memory of a specific black girl or woman by marking your arm or shirt with “I RUN FOR _______” for the virtual 5k. Share her story to friends, family and strangers. SAY HER NAME!
Make sure to tag us so we can add your support to our slideshow that will be shared with The National Coalition for 100 Black Women and to the family members of the girls and women we have tragically and needlessly lost.

A Girls Rock St. Pete virtual 5k in solidarity with #blackgirlsmatter

Saturday, June 27th (anytime, anywhere, any pace)

Say her name and run for change!

Hit the pavement in the name of empowering brown and black girls* in your neighborhood and throughout the world. Social justice is a pillar of the Girls Rock mission, so let’s show up for all girls and women of color facing racial and gender discrimination.

Travel the distance of this HERstoric event in true GRC fashion – however YOU see fit (run, walk, skip, ride, rollerskate, pogo, dance, walk the dog, etc.) Open to all ages and abilities, run solo or with bandmates. ** We encourage participation of our male allies!

As a participant, you will receive a radical POWER PACK with a shirt, swag, and social justice resources. When registering, add your favorite hype song to the Girls Rock! ‘n Run for Justice playlist.

100% of proceeds benefit the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women supporting women of African descent to gain social, political, and economic equity.

  • * Girls Rock St. Pete is inclusive to all female, non-binary and gender, non-conforming friends. We HIGHLY encourage brothers, dads, uncles, and male friends to show support and participate.

  • ** Safety first! GRC encourages physical distancing during the pandemic.
