below while attending the Girls Rock St. Pete’s Power Week (camp):
- Our bodies belong to us and nobody else. Always ask other people before touching them. Any type of physical harm is strictly prohibited.
- Be supportive of one another especially with respect to individual musical abilities and creative efforts.

I hereby give Girls Rock! St Pete Inc. (“GRSP”), a Florida non-profit corporation, permission for my child to be given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid treatment by a certified staff member or volunteer of Girls Rock. I also give permission for my child to be transported by ambulance or aid car to an emergency center for treatment. I authorize GRSP to obtain immediate medical care, and give consent to the hospitalization and performance of necessary diagnostic tests upon, the use of surgery on, and/or the administration of drugs to my child or ward if an emergency occurs when I cannot be located immediately. It is also understood that this agreement may only cover those situations which are true emergencies and only when I cannot be reached. I understand that the provider will take every effort to contact me and/or my designated emergency contact(s).
Informed Consent and Acknowledgement
This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence. This release is authorized on the dates and/or for the duration of the registered session.
At Girls Rock St. Pete, every moment of camp is thoughtfully designed to create an inspiring, collaborative experience for every camper. From day one, your child will join a band, and that band will depend on each member’s presence to write and perform an original song together.
With only five action-packed days of camp and one unforgettable concert day, full attendance is essential. Camp is July 14-18 from 8:30am – 5pm, and the Concert is Sat. July 19 from 3-9pm. Campers are accepted with the understanding that they’ll be present the entire time.
For parent/guardian to review with camper participant before signing:
Girls Rock St. Pete is a high-energy, immersive experience filled with creativity, connection, and personal growth. Campers often experience a wide range of emotions, from excitement to challenge, and everything in between. With full days of music-making, collaboration, and self-expression, camp can be emotionally and physically demanding. Please review these tips with your camper:
- Get plenty of rest prior to and during camp–well-rested campers have more energy and focus.
- Eat a healthy breakfast, bring a nutritious packed lunch and refill your water bottle daily.
- Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes–you’ll be moving around a lot!
- Practice self-care: Take breaks when needed, ask for help, and check in with your emotions.
- Be open-minded and ready to try new things–you might discover a new talent or passion!
- Be prepared to give up your cell phones and other electronic devices so you may be fully present and engaged in your creativity.
- Talk to a trusted adult or camp therapist if you’re feeling overwhelmed–we’re here to support you.
In addition, I give permission for my child to participate in food-related activities, including–but not limited to–camp snacks during the week and pizza on concert night. I have listed all known allergies below.
